SpecBio® SL – Sophorolipid is a biosurfactant obtained by fermentation of recombinant Candida yeast with GMO free Rapeseed Oil and Glucose.
Compared with traditional chemical surfactants, it has the advantages of good biocompatibility, non or low toxicity, biodegradability
SpecBio® SL is green and renewable, and with excellent environmental compatibility
SpecBio® SL has the properties of good emulsification, cleaning and solubilization, and can regulate the affinity between the cell surface and insoluble substrates. In addition, it also can help regulate the skin microecology.
The principle applications for this type of product is in topical cosmetic products, such as body washes and shampoos etc
