Miswak powder is a 100% natural, effective Ayurvedic product for regular skin and oral care produced by Triuga, a popular Ukrainian beauty brand. It contains no additives and can be used to make various DIY skincare products or as tooth powder. Suitable for all skin types.
The term miswak originally refers to the twigs of the arak tree (also known as jhak, pilu, mustard tree or toothbrush tree), which have been used for millennia as a natural toothbrush in the Arabian Peninsula, parts of Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, and some other regions. However, it is also sometimes used to refer to the tree itself.
Miswak powder is also widely used as a skincare product because of its anti-inflammatory, cleansing and refreshing properties. It helps to normalise the production of sebum (skin oil), combats blackheads and pimples, evens out skin tone and improves complexion, reduces pigmentation. In addition, miswak boosts skin elasticity, makes the skin softer and smoother, stimulates skin cell regeneration, and acts as a disinfectant.
