Juniperus chinensis is commonly referred to as Chinese juniper within the English language. In the context of Korea, it is denoted as “Hyang-na-mu,” signifying a fragrant tree due to the pronounced scent emitted from its wooden portions, rendering it suitable for ceremonial incense purposes.
