Bamboo plants are known to have 39 genera and 500 species, and resources of bamboo forests are concentrated in Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Anhui, Hunan, Hubei, Fujian, and Guangdong
SpecKareTMBCP5 bamboo charcoal powder is charcoal made from bamboo plants. Having been known for centuries for its detoxifying power, it is a micro-porous material with excellent absorption property for its large specific surface area.
Production method: Moso bamboo is harvested at 5 years of age, without pollution and burned inside an oven at temperatures of over 1000°C and then crushed to obtain the bamboo charcoal powder.
The composition of the bamboo charcoal is carbon with six sided or hexagonal holes joined together, which make it an excellent deodorizer, purifier and humidity controller.
