Anti-ObiZen serves the purpose of safeguarding the skin against exposomes while concurrently addressing stretch marks.
Exposomes and Obesogen: The concept of exposomes encapsulates the range of environmental exposures an individual encounters over their lifetime. This encompasses external factors such as UV radiation, smoke, temperature variations, air pollution, as well as internal factors like stress, hormones, and emotional influences. Within the realm of exposomes, obesogens emerge as pollutants and disruptors of homeostasis, leading to diminished bodily functions and genetic alterations that contribute to an increase in both the quantity and size of adipocytes within the skin.
Sustainability: Mushrooms are comprised of two main components: the fruiting body and the mycelium. During the harvesting process, mycelia are often discarded due to their lack of edibility. However, it has been established that extracts derived from mycelia exhibit higher total polyphenol and flavonoid contents, as well as greater antioxidant activity compared to extracts from the fruiting bodies. In an endeavor to promote sustainability, DermaLab takes part in upcycling the otherwise discarded mycelia from Cauliflower mushrooms, Button Mushrooms, and Shiitake mushrooms.
