C-EXO  Anti-wrinkle ingredient from Citrus Exosomes

C-EXO is comprised of Exosomes from Green Tangerines (Citrus nippokoreana), directly sourced from Jeju island.

C-EXO is an anti-ageing active that reduces wrinkles by preventing inflammation, and gives skin elasticity and moisture by boosting production of Elastin and Hyaluronic acid

Exosomes are biological nanoparticles (50~200nm in diameter) secreted from living cells, and they are composed of a double lipid membrane. Exosomes are signal mediators,
especially for long distance intercellular signals.
Exosomes contain various biological information such as genetic material, metabolites, and proteins. These substances are delivered to target cells to regulate cell functions.

Citrus nippokoreana is known as ‘Green Tangerine’ in Korea – a fruit from Jeju Island with a long history. It was used as refreshments when serving guests. In addition, its peels were precious ingredients for herbal medicines. Green tangerine is resistant to cold and diseases. The fruit is green in colour until February, and changes to yellow from March to April. Green tangerine has a very strong sour taste, and therefore can be a substitute for lemon or lime. It has a higher Vitamin C content, than Lemons, and is known for immunity reinforcement, cold prevention, and skin beauty.

It also contains Nobiletin which has anti-inflammatory and anti-obesity effects With many volcanic cones and caves on a small island, Jeju Island is a special place in the world. The island is also called ‘the Volcanic Museum’ due to its diverse and unique volcanic topography. For such an unique environment, Jeju Island has earned three UNESCO labels: the Global Geopark, the Biosphere Reserve, and World Natural Heritage Site. Tangerines grown in the clean fresh air and the volcanic bedrock water, are the main specialty of Jeju Island,  located at the southernmost tip of Korea, which maintains a warm temperature even in the middle of winter, hence a highly suitable place to grow Tangerines.

C-EXO prevents inflammatory actions from external stimuli. In addition, it inhibits the degeneration of collagen fibers and elastin fibers which constitute the matrix of the dermal layer. Lastly, it fills the cross gaps among the fibers with glycosaminoglycan to reinforce the structure of the dermal layer for wrinkle reductions and skin elasticity enhancements.

C- EXO reduces wrinkles, makes skin supple, and provides skin hydration effect.

This product has a shelf life of 12months (3months after opening), and needs to be stored at 4℃
