CitroSperse™ Red 7 Lake is a cosmetic-grade pigment dispersion in a patented sustainable silicone alternative emollient. It is highly loaded and dispersed to a fine particle size, resulting in color cosmetics formulations that are bold, saturated, and glossy. Red 7 Lake is core to lip colors both traditional and modern, but is also a game-changer in blushes and bronzers. Its natural origin index is 0.635, making it the best option for increasing natural content in formulas utilizing Lake pigments. Its pigment delivery system provides the same velvety, cushiony feel you’ve come to expect from P2’s sustainable alternatives to dimethicone. CitroSpers Red 7 Lake can be paired with volatile emollients such as Citropol V5 or formulated into volatile-free systems, and is compatible with waxes and other oil-phase ingredients or can be emulsified.
