SpecKare® CSA (Capryloyl Salicylic Acid) is an advanced derivative of salicylic acid with a lipid chain, making it more effective at penetrating the skin’s stratum corneum compared to traditional salicylic acid and AHAs. This unique composition enables it to restructure epidermal cells, promote cell renewal, and provide a micro-exfoliating effect that significantly reduces pore size and improves skin texture. The benefits of SpecKare® CSA are extensive, including whitening, anti-acne, anti-aging, and overall skin conditioning. Its action mechanism involves loosening intercellular connections, which enhances exfoliation and prevents clogged pores, resulting in smoother, brighter, and more refined skin.
Clinical efficacy tests have demonstrated that SpecKare® CSA effectively thickens the Malpighian layer, improves fine lines and wrinkles, and enhances skin smoothness, hydration, and radiance. Compared to glycolic acid peels, it showed significant improvements in pigmentation and wrinkle reduction. The ingredient is commonly used in cosmetic formulations, recommended at concentrations of 0.1-1.0%, and has applications in various well-known skincare products such as VICHY Liftactiv Supreme Serum and Lancôme ABSOLUE REVITALIZING EYE CREAM.
