Mangosteen Extract has a variety of biological properties. It may be used as an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial agent.
The major bioactive substances found in Mangosteen are Xanthone compounds.
Among these xanthones, the most effective xanthone is Alpha-mangostin.
Much research has confirmed its activity from in vitro, in vivo, to clinical studies.
WellCap® Garcine is high purity Mangosteen extract encapsulated with WellCap® technology for cosmeceuticalpurpose.
WellCap® Garcine is very small particles dispersed well in the aqueous solution which is compatible in almost all cosmetic formulations.
WellCap® Garcine can penetrate to the hair follicle and release the active ingredient to the target site.
WellCap® Garcine can remain in the hair follicle and act as reservoir for prolonging activity of the active ingredient.
WellCap® Garcine showed significant improvement in the treatment of comedone, inflammatory lesions, clinical evaluation, porphyrin and post-acne erythema(PAE) during application of 3 months
