Thymol is a phenolic monoterpene extracted from essential oils of several plants such as Thyme and Oregano. Numerous studies
have demonstrated the strong antimicrobial activity of Thymol.
However, Thymol is generally limited in formulations, since it has a high evaporation rate and low water solubility which causes rapid loss in antimicrobial activity.
WellCap® technology is patented encapsulation technique developed by Welltech Biotechnology Co.,Ltd. for valuable ingredients and enhances efficacy and utilization of Thymol.
